Physical and Chemical Properties
It is a strong organic acid with corrosivity. When diluting, pour the acid slowly into water; pouring water into acid is strictly prohibited, as it will cause violent exothermic splashing.
Soluble in water; hard water resistant; biodegradability > 90%, an environment-friendly anionic surfactant raw material.
Cannot be directly used as finished detergent. It must be neutralized with NaOH / soda ash to produce LAS (Sodium Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate) before it gains detergency and foaming performance.
High viscosity, and will thicken at low temperature; has a characteristic pungent odor.

Main Applications
Daily chemical cleaning (largest application): Raw material for dish soap, laundry detergent, washing powder, soap and industrial cleaning agents; the most cost-effective anionic raw material.
Textile auxiliaries: Scouring agent, refining agent, wetting agent, oil remover.
Metal cleaning: Metal degreasing and oil removal.
Leather degreasing and paper deinking.
Pesticide emulsifier and baking paint catalyst.
