SLES, also known as AES, is chemically named Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate and is a mainstream anionic surfactant. The standard commercial grade contains 68–72% active ingredient in paste form. This product maintains diethylene glycol monomethyl ether (1,4-dioxane) levels below 20 ppm, meeting export quality standards. It appears as a light yellow, viscous gel that dissolves easily in water, offering excellent foaming, cleansing, emulsifying, and wetting properties. With strong resistance to hard water and broad compatibility, it can be effectively blended with amphoteric and non-ionic surfactants. Its irritation level is lower than that of SLS, and it exhibits superior biodegradability.

It is widely used in personal care and household cleaning products such as shampoos, shower gels, hand soaps, dishwashing liquids, and laundry detergents. In industrial applications, it serves as a degreasing agent and foaming agent in textile printing and dyeing processes, as well as in leather degreasing and oilfield emulsification aids. The product has mild alkalinity and should be stored in a cool, sealed environment. Supplied in 200 kg plastic drums, it offers stable supply and is ideal for large-scale procurement by personal care manufacturers and textile mills. We provide one-stop sourcing solutions for domestic and international detergent raw material orders.
